Combined Structures were appointed to carry out a comprehensive range of structural alterations as part of the refurbishment of a school in Kensington. The scope of work included underpinning, the construction of new reinforced concrete structures, the creation of new lightwells, pre-cast concrete retaining walls, and the installation of composite slabs. All work was executed within the constraints of a retained façade and existing structure, ensuring the integrity of the building was maintained while modernising the facility to meet current standards.

The Challenge
The project involved extensive structural repairs and alterations to an existing building to facilitate its refurbishment into a new school. The Process
